Annual meeting held, directors elected

The annual meeting of the Summer's Grove Homeowners Association on Monday, September 25, 2006 on the greens directly behind the pool started with pizza and refreshments and six current board members in attendance. About 25 homeowners were present.

John Pecic gave the President's Report discussing home sales, community maintenance, the continuing process with Virginia Paving, and the need for continued maintenance by individual homeowners. Janet Sledge reminded attendees of the availability of the club house at 899 Harrison Circle for rentals.

Two (2) homeowners were elected to the Board of Directors: Ed Collins and Saira Saeed. The elections are to 3-year terms.

The success of the Association is based on the active participation of all members, and serving on the Board allows an owner to be more directly involved in the decision making process. Please join us at the first meeting of the new Board in the club house on Monday, October 2 at seven o'clock.
