The annual meeting of the Summer's Grove Homeowners Association on Monday, September 29, 2008 on the greens directly behind the pool starting with pizza and refreshments and numerous board members past and present in attendance. About 30 homeowners were present. John Pecic gave the President's Report discussing landscaping challenges, the change in the recycling program, and the need for landlords to leave contact information with our management agent. The ethanol transfer station in the Norfolk Southern yard is another issue of community concern. Two homeowners were elected to the Board of Directors, Lisa Couture and Henry Tran, to 3-year terms.
The success of the Association is based on the active participation of all members, and serving on the Board allows an owner to be more directly involved in the decision making process. Please join us at the first meeting of the new Board in the club house on Monday, October 6 at six o'clock. |
